Reds unveil final statsAugust 6, 2021

The Jasper Reds have released the final stats for the 2021 season.
First baseman Landon Mokris paced the offense with a .486 batting average. Others who had a batting average above .300 include center fielder Eli Hopf at .382, second baseman Reece Bauer at .378 and left fielder Jacob Crabtree with an average of .314.
Veteran Bo Daves was the leader of the pitcher staff with a 4-0 record. Grant Stratton was 3-0 and Jobe Luebbehusen and Austin Simmers were 2-0.
The Reds completed their regular season with a 10-0 record. For the first time in their long history, the Reds competed in NABF College Division (for ages 22 & under) World Series held in Youngstown, Ohio.
Jasper fared quite well, winning its first three games, defeating the Lake Erie Warhawks, the Brooklyn NY Cougars and the defending champion Creekside Crocodiles of Youngstown. The Reds lost their final two games to finish with a very respectable 13-2 season record. Bill Alles completed his 22nd year as Reds’ Manager.
