HUNTINGBURG — A Friday afternoon reckless driving complaint resulted in an arrest.
The Huntingburg Police Department was notified at 4:53 p.m. about a reported reckless driver southbound on U.S. 231 headed toward Huntingburg. An officer at U.S. 231 and Phoenix Drive reported seeing a Chevrolet Avalanche pickup truck matching the description in the dispatch tailgating another vehicle.
The driver, Jose J. Cruz Mora, 27, 913 N. Jackson St., Huntingburg, had a blood alcohol content that later tested .11% at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center.
Authorities booked Cruz Mora into the Dubois County Security Center at 7:38 p.m. on preliminary misdemeanor counts of operating while intoxicated and driving while suspended (prior).
