Reckelhoff running for Marion trustee

Clarence Reckelhoff is seeking the Democratic nomination for Marion Township Trustee. He held the position from 1987 to 1995.


Reckelhoff, 64, graduated from Dubois High School in 1967 and earned a degree in accounting from Indiana Business College in 1969. He has worked in the electrical field for the last 30 years and is currently employed by Fischer Electric.

He is a member of St. Celestine Catholic Church, Good Shepherd of the Hill Council Knights of Columbus and the Celestine Community Center. Reckelhoff is a past member of the church’s finance committee, past cochairman of the church’s fall shoot fundraiser and past president of the Celestine Community Club.

Reckelhoff and his wife, Sharon, live west of Celestine. They have five children —Tina Weikert and Jason, Nathan, Kent and Brock Reckelhoff — and three grandchildren.
