Rebecca S. Altmeyer, 76, of Stendal, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at her residence.
She was born December 5, 1942, in Haysville, to Ludwig and Eva (Hebner) Eichmiller and married Robert Altmeyer on September 11, 1972, in Jasper.
Rebecca was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Altmeyer, who passed away on March 16, 2015; two brothers, Charles Eichmiller and Donald Eichmiller; and three sisters, Dorothy Graham, Hazel Bingham and Pauline Henke.
She is survived by three children, Scott Allen Eichmiller of Utah, Alice Altmeyer of Stendal and Robert Altmeyer Jr. of Kokomo; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service for Rebecca S. Altmeyer will be held at 1 p.m. EST on Monday, February 18, 2019, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg.
Friends may call for visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., on Monday, the day of the service.
