Rangers grab winAugust 15, 2013
From Herald Staff Reports
In collaring its second victory in two days, the Forest Park girls golf team also learned a valuable lesson: with balance come results.
No Ranger golfer broke 50, nor did anyone shoot higher than 56, creating an equilibrium that afforded Forest Park (217) a sizeable victory over Heritage Hills (251) on Wednesday at Old English Golf Course.
Brie Englert assembled a 51 to earn medalist honors for the Rangers, while Eryn Jochim (54) notched the low score for Heritage Hills.
Jordan Buechler and Kaylyn Gaesser each chipped in with a 55 for Forest Park while Ashley Reckelhoff posted a 56.
The Patriots’ Dallas Buse fired a 64, Riley Spencer nabbed a 66 and Caroline Guth and Ashleigh Gideon both recorded 67s.
