Rangers give soccer awardsNovember 7, 2013

The Forest Park girls soccer team recently handed out awards at its postseason banquet. Madison Knies was named MVP, and other awards went to Demi Jahn (mental attitude), Rachel Lueken (defense), Madisyn Hunt (Golden Foot) and Hailei Gehlhausen (most improved). Hunt and Knies were also named to the All-Pocket Athletic Conference team, with Lueken earning honorable mention. Tabitha Steckler was named the district top team player.
Several Rangers were also named to the district’s all-academic team: Steckler, Jahn, Gehlhausen, Cassie Dilger and Madi Boeglin. Dilger, Lueken, Boeglin, Steckler and Jahn also earned PAC Scholar Athlete honors.
