Ralph Richard Dearing, 79, Bloomington
August 10, 2020Ralph Richard Dearing, age 79, of Bloomington, passed away at 12:15 a.m., on Friday, August 7, 2020, at the I.U. Health Hospice House in Bloomington.
He was born February 15, 1941, in Huntingburg, Indiana, to Ralph and Edna Mary (Bretz) Dearing. Ralph graduated from Huntingburg High School in 1959 and was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a pharmacy technician at Bloomington Hospital. He was a member of the Bloomington V.F.W. Post #604 and American Legion Burton Wooley Post; Masonic Monroe Lodge #22; and Bloomington York Rite, Scottish Rite, and Murat Shrine in Indianapolis. Ralph was preceded in death by his mother and father.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Dearing of Bloomington, Indiana.
Graveside services for Ralph Dearing will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, August 10, 2020, at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg, Indiana, with Rev. Mark McDaniel officiating. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the V.F.W. Post #2366 Memorial Detail. Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the burial arrangements.
