Raider boys, Patriot girls take first

At Tuesday’s cross country meet at Southridge High School, the Raider boys and Heritage Hills girls were the two first-place teams.

The Southridge boys placed first with a score of 34, while Heritage Hills was second with a 41. On the girls’ side, Heritage Hills was first with a 33, while Southridge was second with a 45.

Heritage Hills’ Mitchell Hopf was the boys individual winner with a time of 16:43, while Southridge’s Dylan Bland was the runner-up with an 18:06. For the girls, Heritage Hills’ Katie Winkler (22:03) and Caitlin Lueken (22:51) were the top two overall finishers, while Southridge’s Brooklyn Tretter placed sixth (24:29).
