R. Raymond Alsman, 90, Sullivan
December 24, 2020R. Raymond Alsman, 90, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Cobblestone Crossing Health Campus in Terre Haute, Indiana.

He was born on March 24, 1930 in Carlisle, Indiana the son of Ernie Alsman and Naomi Candace Pirtle.
Raymond graduated from Carlisle High School in 1948, married Carol J. Carty, February 11, 1951, was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired farmer, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather. In his retirement he enjoyed winter trips to Florida and woodworking.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Carol, his sister Elsie Ault, and his brother Robert Alsman.
Survivors include his three sons; Steve Alsman (Carole) of Holland, Indiana, Brad Alsman (Sue) of Carlisle, Indiana and Dwayne Alsman (Dana) of Sullivan, Indiana, six grandchildren; Candy Wampler (Daron), Suzzanne Patterson (Jayton), Mandy Zimmerman (Kenny), Colin Alsman, Caitlin Kuppler (Tyler) and Chloe Alsman and six great-grandchildren; Annabelle, Gracie and Christian Zimmerman, Ava and Alivya Patterson and Barrett Kuppler.
A private graveside service will be held at Center Ridge Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
