JASPER — Police took a man into custody Saturday after being called to the report of a property dispute.
The Jasper Police Department was called at 11:07 a.m. to an apartment in the 600 block of Village Court where they made contact with Alekzander M. Hodson, 25, 655 Village Court.
After police noticed a blue glass smoking device in plain view, officers allegedly sought and received a consent to search.
Police located additional drug paraphernalia and found Hodson to be in possession of a hypodermic syringe.
Authorities booked Hodson into the Dubois County Security Center at 1:35 p.m. on a preliminary Level 6 felony count of unlawful possession of a syringe.
Police indicated a female at the residence would be cited into court on a misdemeanor count of possession of paraphernalia related to the other items that were located.
