JASPER — A local program aims to help Hoosiers sign up for and understand health care insurance coverage programs.
The program — Covering Kids & Families of TRI-CAP — offers navigators to help Hoosiers do so.
Tri-Cap’s services are free and you can schedule an appointment online at http://www.ckfindiana.org/Free-Insurance-Help/dwp#scheduler. The Jasper Tri-Cap office can be reached at 812-482-2233 ext. 145.
Healthy Indiana Plan members can change their 2019 health plan regardless of when they enrolled or the date of their recertification from Nov. 1 through Dec. 15 of this year.
Marketplace Open Enrollment with coverage starting Jan. 1, 2020, also starts Nov. 1 of this year and ends Dec. 15.
