Primary ballot includes 3 contested races

From Local Sources

Primary Election Day is Tuesday and because there are three contested races on the ballot — two in Jasper and one in Ferdinand— those areas are the only ones that will have polling places open.

In Jasper, District 3 voters taking a Republican ballot will choose between Chad Lueken and Merrill Osterman, both who have filed for the Republican nomination for that seat. District 6 voters taking a Republican ballot will choose between incumbent Kevin Manley and challenger Ryan Schuetter.

In Ferdinand, voters selecting a Democratic ballot will choose between incumbent Ron Weyer and challenger Steven Pancake, who are seeking the party nomination for the at-large council seat.
