Presumed innocent until proven guilty?

To the editor:

So, the question I’m asking myself is this: Who is the victim here, is it Dr. Ford or is it Judge Kavanaugh?  The answer to that may never be determined. The charge is fuzzy and lacks details making it nearly impossible to investigate. Who even has jurisdiction? On the other hand, the charge cannot be dismissed. “This has all the hallmarks of a set-up,” says Andrew C. McCarthy, a highly-respected former federal prosecutor.

I do not want my constitutional rights, including the right to be presumed innocent until proven guilty, to hang on the whim of a mob of Democrats. Preventing this is one of the reasons we got President Donald Trump.
