President’s Community Excellence Award

The President’s Community Excellence Award is presented annually to an individual who has contributed generously of his or her time, talents or resources toward improving the Jasper community. This award is open to all walks of life and honors those who give what they can, in order to “make a difference.”  Because the works and public service of these people are sometimes known to only a few, your nomination will help to recognize the work of those who give so generously of themselves.

All nominations will be judged by a committee drawn from current members of the Jasper Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. This award will be presented by the Chamber Board President at the Annual Meeting on Tuesday, September 28.


The nominee must be an individual, but may be nominated by an individual or organization. Please submit the official form below (a copy is acceptable), along with both of the following:

a. A letter of up to one page listing your reasons for the nomination.

          Be specific regarding the areas of Community Support & Involvement,

          Business Excellence, Leadership Skills & Creativity.

b. A biography, (up to 2 pages), listing his or her service to the community.
