Forest Park 13, Tell City: After a 9-goal explosion over the weekend, the Rangers kept their foot on the throttle Tuesday evening.
Denai Sicard recorded a hat trick in the win, while Kenlee Gehlhausen netted a pair of goals.
When all was said and done, 10 different players scored a goal for Forest Park.
The Rangers led 7-0 after the first 40 minutes of play and added six more in the second half.
The win moves Forest Park to 3-3-1 overall and 2-1 in Pocket Athletic Conference play.
Patriots win triangular: Jayden Reyes earned medalist honors to help led Heritage Hills (229) to a win over Crawford County (241) and Forest Park (245) Tuesday at Sultan’s Run.
Reyes carded a 9-hole score of 51 as she won by five strokes.
Sarah Mangan (56), Grace Mangan (58) and Katelyn Davis (64) rounded out the scoring for the Lady Patriots.
Grace Wendholt paced the Rangers with a 56.
Southridge 3, Pike Central 1: After a pair of close sets to begin the match, the Lady Raiders closed out Pike Central strong with a 25-23, 26-28, 25-15 and 25-14 win.
Bailey Keusch paced Southridge with 13 kills, 14 digs and five aces.
Rose Tempel added seven kills, while Savanah Goeppner and Maddy Songer ran the offense with 21 and 10 assists, respectively.
“We had a rocky start but were able to pull things together in time to gain the win,” Lady Raiders coach Mande Keusch stated. “Bailey had a strong serve and attack for us tonight, and Savannah did a good job of running the offense.”
The win was the first Pocket Athletic Conference win of the season for Southridge.
Pats split four matches: Heritage Hills picked up a pair of wins out of four matches at the Barr-Reeve Invite over the weekend.
The Lady Patriots defeated Tecumseh in three sets and Indianapolis Lutheran in straight sets, while dropping a match in three sets to Mater Dei and battling Class 2A No. 1 ranked Barr-Reeve in two sets.
Against the top-ranked Vikings, Heritage Hills dropped the first set in a 26-24 heartbreaker before falling 25-14 in the final set.
Southridge 3, Forest Park 2: Max Rasche started a rally for the Raiders on the No. 3 singles court in a win over county and Pocket Athletic Conference rival Forest Park on Tuesday.
After his teammates dropped the first two matches at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, Rasche earned a 6-1, 6-0 win over Landon Marks.
Ethan Bell and Sam Sermersheim won 6-2, 6-3 at No. 1 doubles, while Konner Thyen and Levi Schaeffer dropped just two games at No. 2 doubles.
Nathan Jarboe and Wes Stout earned the Rangers’ points at No. 1 singles and No. 2 singles, respectively.
Heritage Hills 4, Tell City 1: The Patriots took two points in singles and swept both doubles matches in a win over Tell City Tuesday evening.
Josh Dellamuth and JT Smallwood picked up wins on the singles court.
Smallwood did not drop a game in his win at No. 2 singles.
