The Forest Park boys tennis team opened Pocket Athletic Conference play with a 4-1 win over visiting Tell City Monday afternoon.
The Rangers picked up a pair of wins on the singles court before both doubles teams came out victorious.
After claiming the singles championship over the weekend at the North Harrison Invitational, Rangers No. 1 singles player Nathan Jarboe picked up another win on Monday, 6-3, 6-4.
Wes Stout, who placed third at No. 2 singles on Saturday, cruised to a win on Monday, 6-0, 6-1.
Forest Park returns to the courts today at Crawford County.
After winning the first set, the Forest Park volleyball team could not sustain the momentum Monday night.
Host South Spencer stormed back to capture the final three sets in a 19-25, 25-16, 25-12 and 25-20 win over the Lady Rangers.
Faith Zazzetti and Macie Zink led the Forest Park offense with nine kills apiece, while Kennedy Sermersheim added seven.
Kylie Giesler ran the offense, as she handed out 27 assists in the loss.
Forest Park plays host to Mater Dei tonight.
