The big items in toady's wrap is news of how the local cross country teams did in their conference meets, so take a quick look to catch up on the latest results.

Wildcat boys repeat as conference champs: The Jasper boys cross country team won the Big Eight conference title on Saturday defeating the likes of Vincennes Lincoln, Washington, Princeton, and Mt. Vernon enroute to back-to-back titles. Jackson Miller took the number one overall spot with a time of 15:44, while teammates Drew O'Neil (15:53) and Abe Eckman (16:01) rounded out the top three. The girls took second overall as a team on the day, just missing out on making it seven straight conference titles. However, Andi VanMeter took first overall with a time of 18:26.

Jeeps finish third in at conference: Both the Northeast Dubois boys and girls cross country teams took third place at Saturday's Blue Chip conference meet. Pierce Brinkman finished number one overall for the boys (16:05), while Jordan Schweikarth (19:46) and Sara Livingston (20:10) had top-five finishes for the girls team.
