Here's a brief rundown of Tuesday night's prep sports action.

Wigand

Cats sweep Golden Aces
The Jasper volleyball team cruised to 3-0 road conference victory over Mount Carmel on Tuesday evening 25-13, 25-11, 25-7. With the victory, the Cats are now a perfect 5-0 in Big Eight conference play.
Stat leaders for Jasper were Natalie Wigand (16 assists, three aces), Reagan Egbert (nine kills), Taylor Wildman (11 digs, four blocks) and Rylee Hedinger (11 digs, four blocks).

Jeeps power past Pats for victory
In a tough volleyball matchup, Northeast Dubois got past Heritage Hills in narrow sweep with each set coming down to the wire for the Jeeps in the victory. Northeast Dubois was victorious by a score of 25-22, 25-19 and 25-22.
Leading the Jeeps in the victory were Taylor Dodd (13 kills, 19 digs), Chloe Terwiske (24 digs), Brooklyn Dodd (27 digs), Kendyl Heeke (14 digs, two aces) and Molly Lueken (seven blocks).
Stat leaders for Heritage Hills in the loss were Grace Vinson (eight kills), Hannah Marchand (12 assists), Brianna Quinn (11 assists, seven digs) and Hannah Schnuck (16 digs).

Rangers nip Vikings in overtime
The Forest Park boys soccer team slipped past North Posey in a conference battle that needed overtime to decide a final score. The Rangers topped the Vikings 3-2 in Poseyville.
Garrett Jochem scored the Rangers first goal via a penalty kick in the first half and then JD Kerber scored Forest Park’s second goal in the second half off an assist from Austin Clifton.
Clifton scored the Rangers game-winning goal in overtime courtesy of an assist from Kerber.

Stout

Forest Park wins season finale
In their regular season finale, the Forest Park boys tennis team cruised to a clean sweep over PAC foe Gibson Southern, 5-0.
Victorious for the Rangers was Reid Steffe (No. 1 singles), Nathan Jarboe (No. 2 singles), Wes Stout (No. 3 singles), Aaron Hurst/Joseph Hurst (No. 1 doubles) and Caiden Persohn/Evan Steinmetz (No. 2 doubles).
