The Northeast Dubois swim teams hosted Vincennes Lincoln on their senior night while the Southridge girls basketball team travelled to face a potential sectional foe.

Here’s a brief rundown of Tuesday’s prep sports action.

Girls Basketball

Alices 68, Raiders 33: The Southridge girls basketball team travelled to Vincennes to battle the Alices and came up on the short end of a tough game.

Lincoln led 44-18 at the halftime break and never looked back from there as they continued the pressure into the second half to secure the win.

Mady Neukam led Southridge with 11 points while Myah Montgomery added 10 points. Alison Hein (20), Darrian Carmean (18) and Maycee Lange (14) all finished in double-figures for the Alices.

Fravell

Jeeps sweep Alices at home: The Northeast Dubois swim teams cruised to a clean sweep at home as the boys defeated Vincennes Lincoln 98-38 and the girls were victorious 68-27.

On the boys side, first place finishes went to Trenton Harrison (200 freestyle, 500 freestyle), Pierce Brinkman (200 individual medley), Colby Stafford (50 freestyle, 100 butterfly), Dakota Roach (100 freestyle), Preston Brinkman (100 backstroke) and the 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay teams.

For the girls, first place finishers were Anna Schnell (200 freestyle, 100 freestyle), Emily Merkley (500 freestyle, 100 breaststroke), Adelle Fravell (100 backstroke) and the 200 medley, 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle relay teams.
