Prep Pulse: Jordyn WisemanOctober 16, 2018
A Q&A with Forest Park senior volleyball player Jordyn Wiseman.
Best thing about the school year: Finally being able to say I'm a senior.
Who on your team cracks you up and why: My bench buddy, Avari Burger. It's ironic because when the season first started she seemed so quiet but after being around her I've realized she is one of the funniest people I have ever met.
Complete the sentence: I could binge watch Riverdale for hours on end.
What teacher has had the greatest impact on your life, and why: Atalie Schroering. I've only known her for a couple weeks now, but she has already helped me look at life in a different light.
What’s the best emoji: The laughing crying face emoji — I use that one daily.
Favorite type of donut: Any.
One thing you do that puts you in your coach’s doghouse: I can only pick one thing? Honestly, though, I'd have to say the biggest thing is not talking on the court.
People would be surprised to know what about you: I am a huge book and movie buff.
Piece of advice you’ve gotten that has stuck with you: Be yourself and if someone doesn't like you, that's their loss.
Who do you consider to be your heroes: My parents. They've both sacrificed so much in order to make sure my siblings and I had what we wanted/needed.
Physical feature that makes you unique: A lot of people like to point out that I have dimples, so I guess that's kind of unique.
Oddest piece of trivia that you know: Your lips, palms of your hands, and soles of your feet are hairless.
I hate to admit it, but my parents are right about: A LOT.
Complete the sentence: I’m going on a road trip, and I’m going to all 50 states and I’m taking these people along for the ride: My parents.
No matter what, hugs (from certain people) can always cheer me up.
I spend far too much money on: Movies and food.
You scream at the TV when: Someone goes looking around after they hear a noise in a horror movie.
Something you really wish you knew how to do: Play guitar.
What are some things on your bucket list: Travel to a different country, ride in a hot air balloon, swim with dolphins.
Best concert you’ve attended: Red, White, and Boom this past year because I got to see Luke Combs.
Who’s the smartest person on your team: Can I say myself?
If you cut the cord but could keep three stations, what would they be: CW, Hallmark and WEHT (ABC).
Best athlete from another school you’ve faced: Growing up, I always thought Brooklyn Dodd (Northeast Dubois) was a good player.
Song in your music collection that’s played the most: "Beautiful Crazy" by Luke Combs.
Business you’d like to add to your hometown: Something small because I don't want industry to take over my small town.
Favorite former athlete from your school: Tie between Mariah Morgan & Taylor Bayer.
Strawberry jelly or grape jelly: Depends what you're using it for — PB&J - Grape but toast - Strawberry.
