Prechtel receives sorority scholarshipMay 20, 2020
Delta Chi Chapter of Kappa, Kappa, Kappa Inc. announces Payton Prechtel is a state scholarship winner.
Payton is a summa cum laude 2020 graduate of Indiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in speech-language pathology/early childhood, human development and family studies and early intervention non-license. She will be continuing her education to earn a master’s degree in speech-language pathology next month at Eastern Illinois University.
Prechtel served as a resident assistant at ISU for three years as well as a social justice educator. She volunteered at several elementary schools and ISU Early Childhood Education Center. She was a University Honors Scholar, National Student Speech-Language Hearing Association Award winner and Communication Sciences and Disorders high honor roll with distinction.
She is a graduate of Forest Park High School and the daughter of Pam and Scott Prechtel.
