Police: Threats lead to man’s arrest

JASPER — Police placed a Martin County man into custody after investigating a report Thursday evening of threats being made to someone’s life over the phone.

The Jasper Police Department received the threat report at 6:30 p.m., investigated and determined Scott G. Taylor, 56, Loogootee, made violent threats to another individual.

Authorities booked Taylor into the Dubois County Security Center at 11:07 p.m. on a preliminary Level 6 felony count of intimidation.
