Police seeking man reportedly involved in theft

JASPER — The Jasper Police Department is asking for the public’s help as officers seek to identify a man suspected with being involved in a debit card theft.

Police said Wednesday that an unknown male who walked with a limp and used a black cane is believed to be involved in the theft of a debit card from the Dollar General store on Mannheim Road.

The man is accused of attempting to use the stolen debit care at Walgreens and Circle A on Wednesday.
