Police: Pain clinic employee stole meds

JASPER — Police took a Pike County woman into custody late Friday morning after investigating a pain clinic’s report that an employee had stolen medications.

The Jasper Police Department received a call at 11:30 a.m. from Commonwealth Pain Management and Spine, 1025 First Ave., in reference to the theft of medications by an employee.

After an investigation, police arrested Alicia A. Hill, 27, Winslow.

Authorities booked Hill into the Dubois County Security Center at 4:42 p.m. on preliminary Level 6 felony counts of obtaining a controlled substance by deception and illegal possession of a narcotic drug, plus an active failure-to-appear warrant out of Vanderburgh County.
