JASPER — Police jailed a man on allegations of child molesting Thursday.
The Jasper Police Department began an investigation Dec. 30 when it was alleged Keith A. Malone, 57, 1626 Newton St., had inappropriately touched two juveniles while they were at his home Dec. 29.
Police say they found enough evidence after investigating the matter to arrest Malone, who was taken into custody without incident at his residence.
Authorities booked Malone into the Dubois County Security Center at 3:07 p.m. on a preliminary Level 4 felony count of child molesting and two preliminary Level 4 felony counts of attempted child molesting.
The Southwest Indiana Child Advocacy Center Coalition, Duboic County Department of Child Services, Crisis Connection and the Dubois County Prosecutor’s Office assisted.
