Police make Jasper drug arrest

JASPER — Police called early today to a Jasper hotel arrested a woman from northeastern Indiana on drug-related preliminary charges.

The Jasper Police Department was dispatched at 1:49 a.m. to the report of possible drug activity at the Days Inn, 272 Brucke Strasse.

During the ensuing investigation, police determined Thelma J. Hall, 28, Fort Wayne, was in possession of three syringes, one of which was loaded with what Hall allegedly said was heroin.

Authorities booked Hall into the Dubois County Security Center at 5:32 a.m. on preliminary Level 6 felony counts of possession of a narcotic drug and unlawful possession of syringes.
