Police make battery, strangulation, recklessness arrest

JASPER — Police arrested a Jasper man on multiple preliminary charges after being called to the report of a domestic battery early Saturday.
The Jasper Police Department was called to the 700 block of West Eighth Street at 3:31 a.m.
Officers who investigated alleged Kyle L. Coleman, 34, 725 W. Eighth St., Jasper, had been in a physical altercation with a female while children were present and had thrown items behind a vehicle during the incident.
Authorities booked Coleman into the Dubois County Security Center at 8:17 a.m. on preliminary Level 6 felony counts of domestic battery and strangulation and a preliminary misdemeanor count of criminal recklessness.
