Police make battery, intimidation, confinement arrest

JASPER — Police dispatched to a report of domestic violence Monday placed a man under arrest.
Jasper Police Department officers who acted on the report at 12:15 p.m. said the suspect, Joshua L. Mattingly, 31, 1354 Maple Leaf Drive, Jasper, had left the scene prior to their arrival.
After locating Mattingly and completing the investigation, police arrested and preliminarily charged Mattingly with Level 6 felony domestic battery, intimidation and criminal confinement.
