From Local Sources

JASPER — Police accused an Orange County man of a driving offense after a traffic stop early Sunday.

A Jasper Police Department officer reports conducting a traffic stop on a dark-colored passenger van at 3:31 a.m. after observing it allegedly had a taillight out and did not signal a turn from South Newton Street onto Brucke Strasse.

During the stop, it was determined the motorist, Joshua A.L. Wade, 35, Paoli, had a suspended Indiana license and a prior conviction for driving while suspended.

Authorities booked Wade into the Dubois County Security Center at 4:53 a.m. on a preliminary misdemeanor count of driving while suspended (prior).
