JASPER — Police accused a Huntingburg man of a driving offense after a traffic stop late Thursday evening.
A Jasper Police Department officer reports conducting a traffic stop on a 2004 Dodge Durango at 5:44 p.m. after allegedly clocking it at 53 mph in the 35 mph zone on Newton Street near Brucke Strasse.
During the stop, it was determined the motorist, Travieso B. Mazkinleys, 37, 612 E. First Ave., Huntingburg, had a suspended license and a prior conviction for driving while suspended.
Authorities booked Mazkinleys into the Dubois County Security Center at 6:21 p.m. on a preliminary misdemeanor count of driving while suspended (prior). He posted bond later Thursday night.
