Police jail Dale man on driving offense

DALE — Police accused a Spencer County man of a driving offense after a traffic stop early Saturday.

A Huntingburg Police Department officer stopped a southbound Buick after allegedly observing it go left of center multiple times in the area of Fourth and Main streets.

During the stop, it was determined the driver, Frank Santillan Sandoval, 19, 107 S. Main St., Dale, had a suspended license and a prior conviction for driving while suspended.

Authorities booked Santillan Sandoval into the Dubois County Security Center at 1:20 a.m. Saturday on a preliminary misdemeanor count of driving while suspended (prior). Santillan Sandoval posted bond later in the morning.
