Police: Habitual traffic violator caught driving

From Local Sources

JASPER — An Indiana State Police trooper arrested a Crawford County man Wednesday afternoon on a felony driving offense.

The trooper stopped a 1994 Nissan driven by Michel G. Lemmon, 34, Taswell, at 3:22 p.m. after observing Lemmon fail to signal a turn at Third and Newton streets in Jasper. The trooper then allegedly determined Lemmon was classified as a habitual traffic violator.

Authorities booked Lemmon into the Dubois County Security Center at 3:40 p.m. on a preliminary Level 6 felony count of driving while classified as a habitual traffic violator.
