Police, gun club hosting "Girls & Guns" classApril 19, 2017

JASPER — The Jasper Police Department and the Jasper Rifle & Gun Club are hosting a “Girls & Guns” handgun safety class from 5:45-9:45 p.m. on Monday, May 22 at the Jasper Police Department, 309 E. Sixth St.
Topics of the class include firearms safety, safe handgun handling, basic shooting fundamentals, types of handguns, and federal and state handgun laws.
The class is free and women who are at least 18 years old are encouraged to register.
No previous handgun experience is required and beginners are welcome.
