JASPER — Catherine L. Waltz, 41, of 4201 N. Second St., Dubois, was taken into custody at her home Monday by a Dubois County Sheriff’s Department deputy executing a multi-count arrest warrant.
The warrant issued in Dubois Superior Court charges Waltz with Class D felony counts of obtaining controlled substances by fraud, obtaining legend (prescription) drugs by fraud, possession of controlled substances, illegal possession of legend drugs and theft.
Court documents indicate the charges stem from a June 29 incident investigated by the Jasper Police Department in which Waltz is alleged to have fraudulently obtained another’s prescription medications from a Jasper pharmacy.
Authorities booked Waltz into the Dubois County Security Center at 2:19 p.m.
