Police accuse woman of impaired driving

From Local Sources

JASPER — Police responding to the report of a possible domestic dispute Saturday evening took a woman into custody for alleged impaired driving.

Jasper Police Department officers looking for a vehicle associated with the 6:38 p.m. dispatch located a Ford Escape being driven by Felecia J. Cole, 58, 1314 Jackson St., Jasper, and stopped it at 15th and Dewey streets.

Police said Cole exhibited signs of intoxication, failed field sobriety testing and had a blood alcohol content that tested .203% in a certified test at the Jasper Police Station.

Authorities booked Cole into the Dubois County Security Center at 9:32 p.m. on a preliminary misdemeanor count of operating while intoxicated. Cole posted bond Sunday.
