JASPER — Police arrested a woman late Wednesday night and accused her of domestic battery and neglect of a dependent.
The Jasper Police Department made the arrest after being called at 11:30 p.m. to the report of a physical altercation that took place in the 400 block of Jackson Street.
Police allege Cassi L. Weitkamp, 20, 520 Newton St., Jasper, in the presence of her three children, struck another female several times.
Officers noted visible injury during the investigation.
Authorities booked Weitkamp into the Dubois County Security Center at 2:09 a.m. today on preliminary Level 6 felony counts of domestic battery and neglect of a dependent.
