JASPER — A Thursday morning call reporting a domestic disturbance in the city led to a man’s arrest.
The Jasper Police Department was dispatched to the Kirkwood Drive area at 9:26 a.m.
Officers determined a woman there had a no-contact order from the State of Washington ordering the man who was present, John K. Hemmer, 51, 450 Kirkwood Drive, to have no contact with her.
Authorities booked Hemmer into the Dubois County Security Center at 1:28 p.m. on a preliminary misdemeanor count of invasion of privacy.
