JASPER — Authorities booked a Pike County man into the Dubois County Security Center this week on an auto theft warrant.
Court documents allege that, between Feb. 20 and 28, Bryan S. Marret, 18, Petersburg, exerted unauthorized control over a 2003 Ford Taurus in a case that resulted in a warrant for his arrest being issued July 19.
Marret was booked into the security center at 5:22 p.m. Monday on the active warrant charging him the Level 6 felony auto theft.
During an initial hearing Tuesday in Dubois Superior Court, Marret’s request for court-appointed counsel was approved and his next hearing was set for Aug. 22.
