HAYSVILLE — A Pike County man was arrested and accused of impaired driving after a Wednesday evening accident south of Haysville.
The Dubois County Sheriff’s Department was called to respond to an accident in the 300 block of West County Road 600N at 6:32 p.m.
Authorities say a 2018 Ford F-150 driven by Clayton D. Eads, 21, Petersburg, struck mailboxes at the location.
Eads allegedly admitted to being the driver, according to the sheriff’s department.
Authorities report that Eads’ blood alcohol content tested at .10 percent in a certified breath test at the Jasper Police Station.
Eads was booked into the Dubois County Security Center at 8:49 p.m. on a preliminary misdemeanor count of operating while intoxicated.
