JASPER — Indiana State Police took a Pike County man into custody Tuesday on a local drug dealing warrant.
Sheldon L. Pasquino, 43, Petersburg, is charged with Level 2 felony dealing in a narcotic drug and Level 6 felony dealing in a Schedule III controlled substance.
Charging information states the two criminal counts involving Schedule II and III drugs stem from incidents that occurred on Dec. 15, 2017, and on April 16 of this year.
A warrant for Pasquino’s arrest was issued last week in Dubois Superior Court. He was booked into the Dubois County Security Center at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday after the state police took him into custody on the warrant.
During an initial hearing Wednesday, the court entered a preliminary plea of not guilty on Pasquino’s behalf, scheduled his next court appearance for Nov. 26 and set his bond at $10,000 cash or $20,000 surety.
