Perry County man accused of intimidation

FERDINAND — Authorities jailed a Perry County man Sunday night and accused him of felony intimidation.

Authorities say the arrest followed the Ferdinand Police Department being dispatched to the report of a domestic argument in the Kimberly Court area.

The ensuing investigation alleged Stuart J. Cassidy, 39, Tell City, threatened a female via text and a call.

Cassidy is reported to have met with authorities at the Ferdinand Police Station before being taken into custody and booked into the Dubois County Security Center at 9:02 p.m. Sunday on a preliminary Level 6 felony count of intimidation.
