Pearman receives award for book

Tory V. (Vandeventer) Pearman has been awarded the 2019 Lone Medievalist Prize for Scholarship for the book “Disability and Knighthood in Malory’s Morte Darthur.” The book examines the intersection of disability and knighthood throughout Malory’s text.

“Disability and Knighthood in Malory’s Morte Darthur” was published in Routledge’s Medieval Literature and Culture Series in 2019.

Pearman is a 1998 graduate of Jasper High School. She is an associate professor of English at Miami University-Hamilton, Ohio.
