Paul R. Mattingly, 83, of Patoka, passed away at 7:34 p.m. on Monday, January 14, 2019, at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.
He was born December 4, 1935, in Loogootee to Irvin Thomas and Flora Agnes (Greenwell) Mattingly. He married Naomi M. Wright on June 12, 1976.
He retired from JOFCO after working there 40 years.
Paul enjoyed bowling, fishing and mushroom hunting.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi; a son, Danny Miller; and 10 siblings.
Paul is survived by three daughters, Tracy Jenkins of Gleason, Rhonda Shafer of Princeton and Tina (David) Lee of Patoka; two stepdaughters, Dawn Morton of Jasper and Robin Breitwieser of Jasper; sons, David, Chris and Hugh Mike Miller; a brother, Donnie Mattingly of Jasper; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Paul R. Mattingly will be held at 10 a.m., on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. The Huntingburg V.F. W. Post #2366 Memorial Detail will conduct military rites.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday.
