The Heritage Hills boys basketball team continued its winning ways on Friday evening as they travelled south to Evansville to face Mater Dei and the Wildcats.
The Patriots were victorious 69-54 for their 12th straight victory after an earlier season setback at Washington.
The game was a close battle most of the way as the Patriots held a 33-28 lead at the halftime break and led just 44-43 after three quarters of play.
However, the Patriots started to pull ahead for good in the fourth quarter as they outscored the Wildcats 25-11 in the final period en route to keeping their winning streak alive.
Murray Becher led all scorers for the Patriots with 22 points while Blake Sisley (14) and Simon Scherry (12) both finished in double-figures.
Zach Schoenstein led Mater Dei with 19 points while Logan Carter added 14 points.
