A day after trumping Southridge for the season’s first win, the Heritage Hills girls golf team settled behind two Evansville counterparts in a three-way gathering at Fendrich Golf Course.
Behind Nicole Loehr’s medalist round of 48, Evansville Mater Dei posted an even 200 to ease past Bosse (222) and Heritage Hills (235) on Friday. Eryn Jochim once again carded a frontrunning total of 50 to lead the Patriots, while Dallas Buse came in at 60, Riley Spencer fired a 62 and Caroline Guth and Ashleigh Gideon both chipped in 63s.
The Patriots will return to the course Monday, facing Forest Park and Jasper in a triangular meet at Christmas Lake Golf Course.
