Patricia S. "Pat" Schroeder, 90, Jasper
October 28, 2020Patricia S. "Pat" Schroeder, age 90, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 7:55 a.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2020, at home.

Pat was born in Huntingburg, Indiana, on July 13, 1930, to Richard and Alice (Stone) McCormack. She married Roman Schroeder on February 14, 1950, in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Huntingburg, Indiana. He preceded her in death on March 20, 2013.
She was a 1948 graduate of Huntingburg High School.
She was co-owner, with her daughter Janet, of Just Kids Bookstore. Previously she had worked many years for Memorial Hospital in administration, and assisted her husband, Roman, at Schroeder Plumbing and Heating.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana, and Psi Iota Psi.
Pat enjoyed sewing, knitting, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are three daughters, Martha (David) Faul, Indianapolis, IN, Beth (John) Murphy, Indianapolis, IN, Janet (David) Lee, Jasper, IN, daughter-in-law, Myra (Andy) Schroeder, Jasper, IN, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death besides her husband, are one son, Joseph Schroeder, and one brother, Richard McCormack.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Patricia S. "Pat" Schroeder will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2020, in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana, with entombment to follow in the Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum. Masks and social distancing are required.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. (noon) until the 2:00 p.m. service time at the church on Friday.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana, or to a favorite charity.
