Patricia Rae (Frazier) Kixmiller, 94, Lewisville, Texas
June 19, 2020Patricia Rae (Frazier) Kixmiller, 94, of Lewisville, Texas, formerly of Evansville and Jasper, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2020, at her home in Lewisville Estates, in Lewisville.

Pat was born May 3, 1926, in Evansville to Raymond and Esther Lucinda (Bryant) Frazier. She graduated from Bosse High School in 1944. Pat met her future husband, Dr. Roy Kixmiller at a USO dance in Evansville while he was on leave from Fort Campbell, Kentucky. They were married in 1945 after Roy returned from deployment with the US Army in Europe. They settled in Evansville after Roy was discharged where he then set up his dental practice. Pat retired in 1989 after working 23 years as a LPN at Welborn Hospital. She was a founder and charter member of Welborn Baptist Hospital Volunteer Services. Pat was also a founder and charter member of Evansville Dental Auxiliary. Pat was a charter member of Eastern Heights Baptist Church.
She loved attending football games at Central and Harrison High Schools. She was a lifelong avid quilter providing quilts for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. As prolific reader, she loved history of the Americas and European. She was deeply devoted to her church and continued with weekly bible studies until her passing. A dry sense of humor served her well as she reared three sons and a daughter.
Patricia is survived by her daughter, Beth Ann Kixmiller Dawkins of Jasper; sons, Randolph Kixmiller (Delight) of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Jon Kixmiller (Deborah) of Highland Village, Texas; grandchildren, Todd Dawkins (Stacy) Adam Dawkins (Amy), Zachary Dawkins (Emily), Abigail Dawkins, Sheagen Tyner, Scott Kixmiller, Jonathon Kixmiller, Heidi Kixmiller, Benjamin Kixmiller ( Alex) and Elizabeth Kixmiller; and great-grandchildren Lance, Luke, Ross, Evah, Levi, Hannah, Hugo, Keller and Amari.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband of 60 years, Roy Kixmiller, who passed away in 2005; son, Anthony Scott Kixmiller; sister, Esther Lee Frazier Crow, son-in-law Phil Dawkins.
A family ceremony will be held at Bethel UCC in Freelandville.
