From local sources
WICKLIFFE — Patoka Lake Marina has added beer cruises on Patoka Lake to its tour schedule.
The two-hour sunset cruises will take place on select Fridays — May 31 and Oct. 4 — and feature tastings from Indiana breweries and hors d’oeuvre food pairings.
The boat will depart the marina at 6:30 p.m. and serve up to 54 guests. The May 31 cruise will feature Upland Brewery, Bloomington. The cost of $39.95 per person or $75 per couple includes the boat cruise, beer tasting, hors d’oeuvres/desserts, two full glasses of beer and a souvenir beer glass. Participants must be 21 or older and show photo identification.
“It’s a way to give visitors another chance to enjoy and experience Patoka Lake while supporting Indiana breweries,” said Stephen Bartels, a co-owner of the marina.
Reservations are required and can be made by calling 888-819-6916. Additional information is available at www.patokalakemarina.com.
