Pancake, sausage breakfast announced

ST. ANTHONY — The Divine Mercy Christian Mothers Confraternity is sponsoring its annual pancake and sausage breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday, Jan. 27, in the Divine Mercy Parish Center next to St. Anthony Catholic Church.

The all-you-care-to-eat breakfast of eggs, grilled sausage, pancakes, fruit, pastries, coffee, milk or juice will be served at a cost of $7 for adults and $3 for children ages 4 through 12; children younger than age 3 may eat for free. Tickets may be purchased at the door. This is the annual fundraiser for the organization. The public is invited to attend.

This year the Christian Mothers will raffle off a quilt. Ticket sales will begin at the breakfast and continue until the May Christian Mothers meeting when a winner will be drawn. The quilt may be viewed in the foyer of the Divine Mercy Parish Center.

Members of the Christian Mothers are asked to donate items for the breakfast. Last names with A through M should bring cans of fruit cocktail, and N through Z may bring breakfast pastries. Items can be dropped off in the parish center before and after the 4:30 p.m. Mass on Saturday, Jan. 26, and before the breakfast on Sunday morning.
