Painting Rocks

St. Charles Health Campus resident Virginia Paulin joked about how messy she was with Director of Life Enrichment Sherri Byers at the Jasper facility while painting rocks Monday. Residents, volunteers and staff painted designs on rocks that will be placed around Dubois County for people to find. “It’s a creative and artistic avenue to be a little more involved in the community,” Byers said.

St. Charles Health Campus resident Betty Drexler painted a floral design on a rock. Drexler is a former art teacher for the Southwest Dubois County School Corporation.

Volunteer Marissa Rogers of Jasper helped resident Rose Kahle paint a rock green. Rogers volunteers for craft time every Monday. "I think it brings joy because it's something everyone can come to and interact together," she said.
